About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Services Officer to support our Higginsville site on an 8/6 roster. Reporting to the Regional Manager – Work Health & Safety, this role is responsible for maintaining emergency preparedness, delivering medical care, and ensuring compliance with emergency and medical protocols.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor Emergency Response Team personnel.
  • Provide leadership and guidance during emergency situations.
  • Maintain and monitor emergency response plans, equipment, and training schedules.
  • Administer medical treatment and pre-hospital care to operational personnel.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing and manage Fitness for Work protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in line with site and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in incident debriefings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Health Care or equivalent.
  • Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (including BG4).
  • HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
  • Minimum 2+ years of operational medical response experience in the resources industry.
  • C Class Driver’s Licence.

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • HR Driver’s Licence.
  • Experience with INX software.
